A solid partnership
A responsive website using stronger, faster technology
Through a growing partnership with The Washington Post, The Globe is the first media company to implement Arc Publishing, a new publishing software with improved technology, usability and display. This means we are able to work faster and smarter to bring content to our audience, and expand our storytelling capabilities.
Arc Publishing is a flexible technology platform specifically built for digital storytelling that handles stories, rich media, apps, video and personalization, optimizing them for deployment to different channels – including desktop, large or small tablets, mobile phones and distributed social platforms. Arc Publishing will enable The Globe to create, deploy and track its content more quickly and efficiently, and focus its own technological innovation on digital storytelling and data gathering. The result is a device-friendly website with greater stability and faster load time for the user.
In addition to adopting the new platform, The Globe will continue to collaborate with The Post’s Arc team to co-develop new modules and integrations aimed at further expanding the system’s capabilities.
